L.A. St. Productions: The Ollin Movement Art Show

For those of you that couldn’t make it to the art show, you were missed. It was a great event, being the first show ever that I organize, I was content with the results. We had about 10 artists put their art up. I am greatful to know and be able to have creative moments with the people in my art group. I do have to say thank you for the existence of L.A. St. Prodcutions because I don’t know that I would ever done this without the community of artist I am surrounded with. Which at times it’s hard to gather because everyone has their own life, and living circumstances for some don’t allow them to keep doing what they love. That’s why these art shows are made, to encourage our community artists, to show our neighborhood the beauty of peoples minds through art. Silent voices live loud through art pieces, photography, poetry, film, u name it. I believe that the night of the art show was one of those nights, where people asked questions, and wandered into each artists mind.
Thanks to Veronica and Carlos, the Ollin Cafe owners, we were able to express ourselves to the community.
Thanks to my art group as well, for all the help. If you would like to still see the art, it will be there until next month it will be gone by the 11th of August. I hope that you guys are able to go and support these fellow artists. There is a contact info posted on a wall if you would like to know more about a piece or know them. I hope you can make it!,
