Make-Up Art
Posted on September 17, 2009 - by Evelin
One of the things that I have been experimenting is with make up, face painting or just fun make up. I’ve been in this mood to do all kinds of things, and I’ve been watching lots of make up tutorials. So I just wanted to share what I’ve done so far with that on myself and on my nieces. Enjoy.

Linda’s Invitations!
Posted on September 17, 2009 - by Evelin
Invitations.
I’ve had an interesting time this last week making some simple wedding invitations for a friend. It was a great experience. I never made anyone else invitations specially wedding invitations but my own. It will be a beach wedding so we had to figure out how to and what to. We could of easily gone to the beach gotten some sand, and collect shells, but that would be extremely hard specially with the time we have. So we bought the supplies, but I am happy with the work i have done, but the most important thing is that she was really happy with my work. Each invitation has the same materials, but is unique in every way, they all have different things going on. It was quite repetitive work, but very awesome. So I have been a busy bee making invitations, that has been my latest art/craft thing to do among others that I will share. Enjoy the pictures.

“NO IMPACT MAN” DOCUMENTARY
New Yorker Colin Beavan decided to eliminate his personal impact on the environment for a year — no car, no electricity, no material consumption, and no garbage. But when his wife and daughter were dragged into the fray, the No Impact Project had an unforeseen impact of its own.
Laura Gabbert and Justin Schein’s documentary “No Impact Man” provides an intriguing look into the experiment, and its impact on Colin’s family life.
Colin has also written a “No Impact Man” book, and started the non-profit No Impact Project to help people learn to reduce their impact by living the zero-waste lifestyle for one week.

Fuel - Theatrical Trailer
Coming to Theaters Nationwide in September! Visit www.thefuelfilm.com for more information.
Info from Myspace page Stop Global Warming:
“FUEL” DOCUMENTARY OPENS FRIDAY 9/18
Josh Tickell’s Sundance-winning documentary FUEL opens nationwide this Friday, Sept 18.
Called “the unofficial sequel to An Inconvenient Truth,” FUEL is a comprehensive and entertaining look at energy in America: a history of where we have been, our present predicament and a solution to our dependence on foreign oil.
After making a historic trek in his “Veggie Van” a decade ago, Josh is on the road again on an alternative fuel tour, beginning in San Francisco and landing in New York for the Friday premiere. This time he’s in another amazing vehicle co-created by Rebecca Harrell, producer of FUEL — a plug-in Prius that runs on a percentage of gasoline made from algae, not oil.
Josh has been a longtime partner, and we’re proud to support him, his film and The Veggie Van Organization.
Visit TheFuelFilm.com to watch the trailer, learn about the tour, and find theaters near you.

International Coastal Clean up: September 19, 2009
I came across an article on Myspace from the Stop Global Warming page about the international caostal clean up day. This saturday is the day that a lot of volunteers get together to clean up the coasts of the ocean. It is to clean up our oceans, and also for educational awareness and inspire awareness and clean ups, and to see what policies and decisions need to be made. If you would like to volunteer for such occasion you can check out their website and sign up there. Here is the link for their site: http://www.oceanconservancy.org/site/PageServer?pagename=icc_home
We need clean oceans so our sea creatures can have a happy home.
